By air

Airport Innsbruck (Further information)
Distance to competition venue: <10 km
The airport Innsbruck is directly connected with Amsterdam, London, Frankfurt, and Vienna.
From Innsbruck Airport the bus line F takes you to town, alternatively you can get a taxi / cab by calling +43 512 5311. The schedule of the F line can be found HERE.

Airport Munich (Further information)
Distance to competition venue: ~ 200 km
From the airport take the "S-Bahn" (S1 or S8) to train station "Munich East" / "München Ostbahnhof"), then go by train to Innsbruck (station "Innsbruck Hauptbahnhof").

By train:
Innsbruck central railway station offers direct connection to almost all major European cities. All trains make a stop in Innsbruck ("Innsbruck Hauptbahnhof"). At the western side of Innsbruck Hauptbahnhof there is a large bus stop. HERE you find the next connections from Innsbruck Hauptbahnhof. Alternatively you can get a taxi / cab by calling +43 512 5311.

 

 

Getting around in Innsbruck

During the World Championships, the event organizer offers a free shuttle service that connects the venue Olympiaworld (where semi-finals and finals take place), the main train station (Innsbruck Hauptbahnhof), the Marktplatz Innsbruck (where all ceremonies and the framework programme takes place) and the venue Kletterzentrum Innsbruck (where qualifiers take place). This shuttle service is available to the teams.
There are no parking spots at the venue Kletterzentrum!

On foot you can reach the venues easily as well. From the main train station (Innsbruck Hauptbahnhof) it takes a bit more than 20 minutes to the Kletterzentrum Innsbruck, approx. 10 minutes to the Marktplatz, und 15 minutes to the Olympiaworld.


Training in commercial facilities

In the commercial gyms Kletterzentrum Innsbruck (Lead), Bergstation Telfs (Boulder and Lead) and dem Kletterzentrum Imst (Lead and Speed) and Steinblock Imst (Boulder) it is possible to train during the World Championships:
