Leisurely energy hike to Ellmau´s Steinkreis (stone circle)
Just 30 minutes above the Wochenbrunner Alm the Ellmauer Steinkreis forms a self-contained natural force field of energy in the form of a giant mandala. A perfect place to enjoy nature and to meditate. The Steinkreis circuit walk has helped many to clarify their thoughts and bestowed them with energy. Primarily, everyday life is left behind. After a rest a short hike of about 30 minutes take us to Gaudeamushütte, today´s destination.
Total duration of the hike: approx. 1-2 hours (including energy-rest)
Adrenalin K(l)ick at Klamml via ferrata
The Klamml via ferrata is located between Gaudeamushütte and Gruttenhütte in Ellmau. The entrance to the patz can be reached in approx. one hour from Wochenbrunner Alm. The route is made up of two sections: the lower section in difficulty B/C and the upper section in difficulty D, both are connected with a spectacular two-rope bridge. At the same point it is also possible to exit the via ferrata after the first section. After a short break at Gruttenhütte an approx. 50-minutes’ walk takes us back to Gaudeamushütte, today´s destination.
Risk´n Fun in Kaiser´s climbing garden
After an approx. 50-minutes’ walk we´ll reach the Kaiser crag, our “playground” today. After two hours climbing-training a 20-minutes hike takes us back to Gaudeamushütte, today´s destination.

Visit of KaiserBad – climbing hall in Ellmau, which offers 100 different climbing routes in difficulty from 3 to 10.
